Matt, a West Hartford native, has been a part of our New Britain YMCA team since 2022. Learning from a variety of strength and conditioning coaches, along with his own personal experience of over 10 years including playing basketball at the collegiate level under Coach Jim Calhoun at the University of St. Joseph’s, he is knowledgeable and understands the importance of setting and maintaining achievable strength and fitness goals. 

Agnieszka Kuzio

Agnieszka is a longtime member of New Britain-Berlin-Meriden YMCA who joined our team as a group fitness instructor in 2013. Her passion is to have the most positive impact on the lives of the people that she works with, helping others become the healthiest, happiest versions of themselves. “The goal isn’t to workout…the goal is to become someone who wants to look and feel better.”

Her focus on teaching proper form, posture, and balance helps ensure a client exercises safely. Agnieszka helps people who hate exercise to fall in love with it.

Agnieszka is a NPTA Certified Personal Trainer and Group Fitness Instructor. She also holds certifications for Cycle Instructor, Kettlebell Trainer, ZUMBA® and STRONG Nation ™ (formerly Strong by ZUMBA®) Instructor and First Aid/CPR.

Leslie Haber

Leslie is a NASM certified Personal Trainer, AEA Certified Trainer, and a licensed S’WET Deep and S’WET Shallow Instructor. 

“My focus is training in the pool- our liquid gym. I use Structured Water Exercise Training – which combines work to build muscle strength, cardio, high intensity training and unique equipment. This is for everyone. You decide if you want to train in shallow or deep water. It is for non swimmers and people training for open water swims. All exercises can be modified, so you will get the workout you want. Want to be challenged? S’WET also has a series of very intense exercises called dude moves.”

Leslie is a resident of New Britain and a member of the Meriden-New Britain-Berlin YMCA. She joined our team as a group fitness instructor in 2023.
